Claire Mitchell, Integrative Psychotherapist
EAIP, EAP, UKCP
The aim of integrative psychotherapy is to encourage a therapeutic relationship that enables a patient to learn how patterns of negative behaviour have manifested over time. It also identifies how these patterns result in interruptions in their contact with life, others around them and themselves. Many people may be able to benefit from this service including those with stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement or loss, addiction, life changing events and difficulties at work or at home.
Claire is accredited with the UK Council for Psychotherapy, the European Association of Psychotherapy and the European Association of Integrative Psychotherapy. My training uses many aspects of different psychotherapeutic models: humanist, relational, behavioural, psychodynamic, existential, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Gestalt.
Kirsty White, Advance Massage Practitioner
Kirsty completed a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Brighton. Since returning to Jersey in 2014 as a licensed sports massage therapist Kirsty has worked with a range of people, including children, the general public and professional athletes.
Sports massage therapy is the management, manipulation, and rehabilitation of soft tissues within the body - specifically the muscles, ligaments and tendons. It is suitable not just for athletes, but a variety of people who wish to prevent or recover from a soft tissue injury, relating to both daily activities and training regimes.
Incorporating regular massage can help to maintain the health and function of the muscles, ligaments and tendons, and help prevent those minor aches and pains from becoming chronic injuries that may limit your day-to-day performance.
